1897 Victorian Girl tray 9 ¼". Always thought to be, by historians and collectors, the very first tin lithographed tray used by The Coca-Cola Co. Until an earlier one is found, this one will remain the first. Very few of these icon image trays exist and they have remained illusive, to even the most advanced collectors. The Schmidt's were able to find this example early on in their collecting. To make their museum one of the only know complete collection of serving trays. Quite a feat, possibly the first and only until now. This unbelievable piece of Coca-Cola history is being offered with no reserve to hopefully someone who will enjoy it as much as the many thousands who have visited the museum over the years. The color on this tray is remarkably strong, the reds and blues are just beautiful. The red borders have some rubs and chips. The inside rim featuring leaves and Cola Nuts has quite a bit of tarnish. The gold printing throughout this tray is tarnished. Scratches in logo, specks and wear throughout. Detail in face, glass, coupon and table are beautiful. Perfectly flat with no dents. This is the ultimate, the one iconic piece that defines that one collection that will go down in history, like the Schmidt's and Coca-Cola itself
