1903 Hilda Clark celluloid clock When you talk about rare and beautiful it doesn't get much better than this piece. To think that they produced such and elegant piece of advertising is just amazing. This is just stunning. Easel on back has been recreated but the original string is there. Has very ornate cutout metal edges to protect the celluloid from peeling in the corners, a very elegant detail. Logo on clock face is faded and some light stains. The celluloid and cardboard have shrunk a bit over the years, leaving a bit of a bow distortion to the piece. There is an edge crack in bottom border under clock. There has been some separation between paper and celluloid causing a foxing effect both on the gold border and image. However, this clock still has all that it takes. Extremely scarce
