Description:

Circa 1930's; each bottle is a 20" tall cast iron Christmas bottle; and each bottle is quite heavy, weighing approximately 30 to 40 pounds; these bottles have receivers underneath each piece which is threaded and designed to accommodate a 2 1/4" threaded pipe which would have been mounted in a concrete or masonry column around a bottling plant; the hooks at the neck of the bottle would have accommodated a linked chain connecting bottle to bottle across the column tops; some of the bottles still retain good original caramel and silver paint; others in various stages of paint or priming; some bottles are without hooks at the neck, those could have been missing over time or some of the bottles could have been intended as end caps; this is a great opportunity to re-create that type of look within your collection with this nice set of 7 bottles; condition 6 to 7.5 / G to VG
