c.1902 celluloid hanging sign 8" Gold edge, top adornment and chain are all original, untouched and just magnificent. The gold edge shines with only the most minor amount of tarnishing. There is one tiny pinhead speck on second "o" and a small blister in background, lower left. Slight impression on celluloid curve under logo. This is an amazing piece in amazing condition. This celluloid hanging sign may be one of the most beautiful and elegant pieces in this collection. It is just amazing. Bright gold gilt edges, chain and top adornment are bright and beautiful. With only the slightest tarnish, they actually shine. The bright green celluloid just pops out at you. Several shades of green outlined in gold trim brings you back to the early soda fountain era. The pure white logo and 5 cent outlined in gold is set on a green background with the look of summer leaves. To a Coca-Cola collector or anyone who appreciates antique advertising, these signs just take your breath away. Totally outstanding.
