c1908 Match safe celluloid, showing both sides. Mfg. Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, NJ. This has been a very elusive piece for collectors over the years. A very elegant little piece, is chrome with celluloid covered sides. There is some pitting on chrome and some foxing on goth celluloid sides, bottom striker shows wear. A wonderful piece and very scarce.
