Description:
The gum wrapper is from the collection of Thom Thompson and was purchased from Dave Caldwell in June of 1988 by Thom. This was likely a printer's proof as there are a few staple holes in the label, with only very light wear otherwise. That fact, coupled with the fact it is advertising spearmint gum makes it a rare find. Also included in this lot is a 25-point coupon good for premiums off the current list of the period in 1924. The certificate represented the return of 24 Coca-Cola bottles in their case. It also could well have been a printer's copy, since the date September 1, 1924 is stamped on the back. Only mild age toning and one very short edge tear, which is closed. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 5 - 1/2" x 4 - 1/2" x 1".
