Description:
/ CORRESPONDENCE - 6 Pieces between October 1914 and January of 1916. The first piece is from the Coca-Cola Company to Franklin Manufacturing Company from F. C. Dobbs, President of the Coca-Cola Company. This letter details complaints about the gum salesmen representing themselves as being connected with the Coca-Cola Company, and is quite interesting. The next four letters are from Franklin-Caro Company to both the Coca-Cola Company and the Candler Law Firm. They cover various topics, such as: contractual relationship between the two companies, a request for the ingredients of Coca-Cola so that the gum company could experiment with flavors, and a plea to settle contract terms with the company. The final piece bears a gum label and is signed by Richard Gwathney, President of Franklin-Caro Company, and is a trademark application sent to St. Johns Newfoundland. Very nice group of correspondence, with slight browning some edge tears on the last piece. Condition G to VG
