Description:
This rare celluloid sign almost never comes up for sale. It is framed without glass. The sign shows a dressed up Lillian Nordica standing with a fan in her hand. The center oval is embossed and does show some normal signs of waviness to the surface. The colors are very strong with no signs of fading. There is some celluloid lifting in three corners as well as a crack in the fan area and also in the bottom dress area. There is one small touch up in the center crack where the fan is. It is very small and does not detract from this signs beauty. The sign has not been inspected out of the frame, however some celluloid loss to the edge is present. Condition (Very Good). Size Framed: 29 - 1/2" x 22 - 3/4".
