Description:
This is late 30’s to early 40’s and most likely was a sample prototype made for review by the company to consider more production. The details and accents in wood and plywood are all exactly true and color tone and design to what was produced during this period. Beautiful piece you would probably never see again with only a few wood nicks, one small tack hole and some expected plywood cracks. This sign was taken around to stores that sell Coke to show what they could build for the store’s outdoor signage. This is the only example known. And is pictured in color in Petretti’s 11th and 12th editions. 8.5. Condition (Excellent). Size 16" L.
