Description:
13" x 15" x 11" deep; made by Miller Hydro Co. in Bainbridge GA; designed to inspect 4 bottles at a time by placing bottles in inverted position and pushing the button which lights the inside of the box. At that point the light is reflected from a replaced bottom mirror which illuminates the bottles brightly for inspection; the iron framework box has been re-painted but is all original. The inspection box sits atop a later custom-made table for display purposes that incorporates the push button with which to light the box; circa 1920's to 30's this would have pre-dated conveyor line bottle inspection techniques; condition 7 to 8 / VG
