Description:
31" x 50" x 2" deep; dated 1940; this piece was shipped flat and folded over on itself as evidenced by vertical bend line between the girl and the Coke disc, and then you would flatten it out and assemble the self-framing edges. Very unusual and rarely-if-ever found; there are some bends and closed tears, small chips in the bottom left corner and bottom area of the frame; the left, right and top sides of the frame are in nice shape with very little wear and just overall soiling; the poster has a medium stain from the right side of the disc, running horizontally into her hat; and a small stain bottom center below the glass; due to the dark colors these are not glaring; otherwise light to medium soiling with light wear and marks; condition 6.5 to 7 / G
